Qantas Platinum Frequent Flyer - Gift Gold for 12 months

Hi guys,

Hoping someone knows the answer to this.

My auntie is a Platinum FF and I saw this post which says you can gift a 12 month Gold membership to a family or friend.

We have logged into her account together and when we go to profile it just has tabs with all profile information - where is this "Rewards redemption area"

If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

    I have always found QANTAS FF staff to be really helpful.

    This gift Gold membership is only when you reach "double platinum" (i.e. reaching platinum needs 1200 status credits, and if you reach that and get another 1200 status credits or 2400 status credits in total then they give you some sweetener gifts such as a gift gold to keep you flying towards Platinum One at 3600 credits)

    Oh thanks I think she has 2100 points so that works out well

    Has just booked some first class tickets so should get that soon
