We're travelling Melb to Singapore soon on Qantas, do they still have built in entertainment systems? last time we fly (domestic) there were none and you had to have your own tablet/phone and the app. Asking as we'd rather not take tablets/ipads on the trip. Cheers.
bring it for other purposes other than on board entertainment. eg. train trips, booking things during your trip
I flew SIN-BNE last December on Qantas. There was a screen onboard. In fact it had the biggest onboard screen I had ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised by my onboard experience. Service was warm and polite but very very slow. I guess that is a true reflection of typical Oz hospitality service? :)

yeah will have smartphones but not keen on watching a movie on a phone. So one person says no there's isn't built in screens, another says there is! does it depend on the specific aircraft or flight number?
There are built in screens. I think bdl miss-read the question and was trying to say that you don't need to bring a tab/phone on international flights.
