According to tests, Subway's chicken only has 50% chicken. However, this is for Canada. But given that Subway uses a global sourcing company called IPC for it's food and packaging, it is possible Australia uses a similar specification.

Well the study was conducted in Canada, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this stuff is stocked globally.
Just another reason to avoid mechanically separated meat products IMO.
subway probabaly uses the same mutant lab grafted chickens as KFC. This is the reason DNA tests are 50% known chicken species.
But the chickens are basically made of 100% grains in the first place, no?

I knew someone who suffered an allergic reaction to chicken at subway and that was due to it not being 100% chicken. This was years ago now (going back 5 years ago or more) so I do not know if things have changed..I don't personally eat there anymore but that's not due to the chicken thing.
