$2.50 for a Magnum (ice cream, not revolver) is pretty good, too.

    • I don't know much about find, but $2.50 for a magnum sounds like a steal

  • +3

You also get $2 sandwiches and $2 sushi on all Wednesdays in this month.

  • Ice coffee deal is gonna get used a lot by me thanks op 😊

    • +3

Aren't they all 'one use' only?

      • One use per day.

        • +1

whenever I use a coupon (meaning it gets scanned by staff) it disappears from the app and never returns.

I've tried reinstalling but it doesn't return, unless you have multiple phones / accounts I don't see how multiple of the same can be used - unless the particular voucher allows it?

FWIW, I don't actually sign in to the app, don't have an account.

        • +1

@nismo: Uninstall, and then reinstall app. There's a link to instructions in previous deal.

EDIT: I say 1 use per day as there is only one 7-11 in Perth CBD.

        • @Tiggrrrrr: Are you sure? Like nismo my voucher will be removed from the app once it's redeemed. Reinstalling it wouldn't give you a new one. Wondering how you do it exactly?

        • @Tiggrrrrr:
What happened to the second 7 eleven?

        • @Tiggrrrrr:
Hi Tiggrrrrr that's exactly what I meant by "reinstall" - it does NOT work, the voucher does not come back after an uninstall then install…

        • @nismo: I don't think he understands what we are talking about. Btw nismo, have you tried to register multiple 7-eleven accounts and see if that gives you new vouchers?

        • @MadMaxBargainRoad: I am simply quoting from the previous deal

ie. Note: you can redownload the app, make a new account, and redeem the offers again.

EDIT: However, I have a "burner" phone. I use the free sim from 7-11 in it to do a number of things, such as install another Uber account, and get my own referral credit. So I can't confirm that this will work "daily" I'm just saying that if you do try it, then in Perth you'd not likely be able to do it more than once a day due to a single store.

        • @calus: The 2nd one was just a pop-up, and even though more popular than the current one, had more, er, issues apparently with the local "clientele"

    • Interested to know how you can generate multiple copies of the same voucher.

      • Didn't know it was 1 use only. Oh well, I'm going to use 100% of the iced coffee voucher.

  • I don't think the fruit is free, 7-Eleven make the staff pay for it.

    • Why would you say that?
Deal includes a piece of free fruit. Need to redeem offer on app, as stated in deal title.

Easy to confirm deal - Shows free on app for me😯

Set up app & register for offers - so not a targeted offer as someone reported.

Need another 'nana etc - clear app data, set up another account.

      • Why would you say that?

        Just a feeling I have.

Shouldn't you be saying that a fuel purchase is necessary for this to work? Last time I bought this "special" fuel for my lawn mower I had to have the fuel lines and filter replaced due to it attracting moisture. I think they should be forced to put up warning stickers at the bowser.

    • Ah, a newbie. Check previous 7-11 deals (just under Related Store: 7-Eleven in deal) for comments on how to use the app.

I've never bought fuel, just use app for freebies😯

      • In the previous deal everyone was complaining cos the app wouldn't scan unless petrol was bought. Same happened to me.

        • In the previous deal everyone was complaining

Not true Donald - very few complained (94+,0- votes)😯

Yes, staff told some people offer was not available without fuel purchase - as easy excuse when offer didn't scan & reduce price. (Finding out true reason is above the low pay rate of their staff😒) Many stores don't sell fuel. No proof this was true reason.

Others redeemed offer without fuel with no issue. eg I had no problem redeeming without buying fuel.

Likely a tech issue as fuel purchase is not a condition of offer. Possibly later corrected

Scanning has been ongoing issue with these offers.

Try & see if it works.

        • @Infidel: This is true. I had no problems using it at a 7-11 in the CBD up until one week where none of the offers would scan and reduce. The next week it was working fine again.

        • @Infidel:
Ok I'll try it. Wasn't aware it was a scanning issue. Thanks for the update. Their fuel still sucks though. They should warn people not to put it on mowers or else you'll be up for a $100 service.

        • @bennybaubles:
It's an internet thing - unprovable conspiracy theories (you need to buy fuel, even if CBD store doesn't sell it) always Trump simple stuff ups - that are later corrected.

  • Are coffee melts any good?
I wanted just a black one but they said the button on the coffee machine for coffee melt ads a lot of milk.

    • I had one, cos it was free, and wasn't impressed, the ice cream just melted and it became a crappy coffee..

      • -1

Sounds like what a coffee melt would be :)

    • I didn't mind the melt as much as other people since I like sweet creamy flavours, but even for me the ice coffee was the better drink. For both you have to wait a while for the ice/ice-cream to melt, best about 5 minutes after it's made.

    • Don't expect an affogato

Our local 7-11s in Sydney's inner west always run out of the free SIMs, and/or the staff are instructed to hide them. It has happened for the last 3 free SIMs - the 2 Optus ones, then the Vodafone one - and I'm sure it'll happen for this Vodafone one too. Once the freebie is over, they magically return!

    • +1

I agree! I checked Bondi junction, Chatswood and a few other places, no one had the $2 Vodafone sim as per last month's offer.

    • Have you tried asking to buy the $2 SIM (currently on offer) & see if your hidden stock "magically returns"? If they don't want to sell it to you, there's no stock. If it exists - then scan offer.
Some staff (in free $10 Optus SIM at Coles Express) hid away the SIM cards - to give out to those claiming the free SIM. Very helpful. But you had to ask.

If there are a high number of OzBargainers / 7-11 App users in the area - not surprised its been OzBargained.

Never have had that problem - always been in stock when I've tried. Near end of day they've even thrown in a free donut 🍩 despite spending $0. So depends on area (or owner / manager) & your approach.

$2 SIMs are usually not stocked at high levels as demand is usually low (except during offers). No real incentive for owner/ manager to go to effort to restock just to give away.

Restocking & little demand (no current free offer) can explain why stock "magically" reappears after offer expires. Happens with other deals.

  • FREE FRUIT?

    • 1 per app account.

      • nice, its worth it

        • +1

          I noticed your EXCITEMENT!😯

🍌 🍌 🍌 Choose wisely & eat your 1 piece of fruit slowly - its got to last you a month until the next free offer (unless you clear the app data & create a new account) 🍌 🍌 🍌

  • Hey guys, might just try out the coffee melt, anyone know if skim milk is a free addition or does it cost extra?

  • do thoose vodafone sim packs get activated once they scan them in?

  • Did the ice tea disappear for anyone else?
