I recently subscribed to the Telegraph who were running a promotion where first 500 subscribers received free family pass to this years Royal Easter Show. It has been a week and still have not received my ticket. Perhaps Ozbargainers can give some insights. At what point would this type of promotion become bait advertising. For example if the blurb advertising the offer was still active on their website when I subscribed does that imply that free tickets are still aviailble? If five hundred subscriptions have already been made are the promoters obligated to remove reference to the offer? Maybe I will get lucky and receive tickets this week but what if I don't do I have a legitimate case for a refund?

I think you need to just be a little patient at this point. Going on about bait advertising is a bit much.
If they end up not giving you the tickets then you do have a case for a refund.
I called to subscribe within a couple hours of the deal going up, received my tix via email 2 days ago.
Did you subscribe via phone or online?
Online
should get it in 5 days. as I was told by customer service.
All good just received them but yes the five day time frame did have me concerned. It did say "approximately" however.
Some people in this thread say they are only just starting to recieve tix.
