Yeah you will never find a xiaomi retail in Australia.
They have retailers everywhere in China and they even had a mistore in Hong Kong if you're heading that way anytime soon…
Just watch a bunch of YouTube reviews and make a decision I guess.
No retail store sells it locally
Unfortunately if you do find a store it will be overpriced and expensive (vs buying online)
I have this phone and the MiMax, both are excellent devices
