$129 free delivery.Perfect choice.
I've had one of those cheap ones from Kmart or big w - lasted about a year.
I say go for one with good reviews. For your budget but 20L, this one looks like a good one http://www.harveynorman.com.au/kitchen-appliances/appliances…
Or, this one (just slightly above your budget, but shop around to see if you can get it for less): http://www.harveynorman.com.au/kitchen-appliances/appliances…
Edit: just saw that holdenmg suggested the model in the second link - it looks like a great deal with free delivery
I bought my current microwave off eBay for 99cents. LG stainless steel, 5 years on and going strong .
I bought the Big W home-brand Contempo compact microwave back in Mar/April last year, and still very happy with it. The Medium-Sized Contempo ($99) even got a mention in Choice Review 2016 article - see comment from a past thread. So they are not bad if you are after a basic microwave, without many fancy features. Strange that volume capacity for the medium Contempo is not given, although the small is 18L and the large is 30L. So it must be somewhere in between.
Been using kambrook microwave from kmart for a few years. No issues. I have older model but current 30l is $119.
I would investigate the option of a microwave with convection capability as well. That way you can cook pastries, pizzas etc. This is good for small batches rather than having to heat up the big oven.
