I have gone to Bunnings (Dural NSW) to buy the 54L storage crates (another ozbargain deal) this morning, I find this path light is on sale. This light is not found from Bunnings online and I am not sure it is nation wide.

Wouldnt be surprised but it does seem to say stainless steel on the box.
cheap solar lights of whatever material just won't last. they won't be sealed properly from the elements, and their internals will corrode before the rechargeable battery needs replacing. but hey, $1…
Buy them for the batteries inside.. cheaper than buying a pack of batteries
Those batteries aren't worth a dollar. Just checked one of my garden lights, the battery is AA and says "Ni-Cd AA 300mAh 1.2V". Bought from Bunnings about three months ago, more than half of the garden lights aren't working any more.
When the first one died, I put an Aldi 2400mAh battery (worth $1.50!) into it, and that light is still working.
These are not bright and the material is made of plastic. They will crack very soon.
