  • Hi, wondering whose tele infrastructure you are using? i.e Telstra? Worrying about the signal. Besides, do you accept BYO? Thanks!

    • Optus, yes Yomojo is BYO phone. But before you pay, read our Yomojo horror stories and this one. Yes you too can get your refund

        Not allowing double up on promos is hardly a horror story in my books.

        As for the other issue this is something we are trying to make clearer for our customers. We have some plans for changes to our customer portal to make it clearer for all.

        Seems some customers do confuse the idea of auto renewals with auto top-ups. As with most mobile providers you will have a plan that renews monthly, but you can also have Pay As You Go credit on your account for when you run over the included usage on your plan. Typically customers will buy bolt-ons for additional usage but if you choose not to do that then additional usage will be deducted from your Pay As You Go credit. We are encountering cases of customers turning off auto-top up for their Pay As You Go credit and expecting that will cancel their monthly renewals. We are currently planning ways of making it clearer to customers the difference between auto renewals and auto top-ups.

        • Yomojo yourself has admitted there has been no evidence of a T&C revision date to warrant exclusion of remaining credit balance used for subscriptions for earlier customers. As a result, denying earlier customers in retrospect with updated T&C has no basis on principle.

          Yomojo admitted system glitches during Jan 2017 communications. When auto top-up is deactivated, there is zero consent for our credit cards to be charged and is a consumer law violation.

          Yomojo have been and still unable to defend themselves to the above. Yomojo support manager deliberately waited until our services expired before responding or calling, and waited until after business hours to deliberately avoid handling the issue. Such unethical work practices are shameful to say the least and indicate how unprofessional Yomojo are at handling customer complaints.

          Double promotion is not the horror story, but the above facts are undisputed Yomojo horror stories.

          @lovepeoplenotmoney:

          I am currently discussing your case with our CSR team to get a better understanding of your issues.

          Though based on your description;

          "Yomojo admitted system glitches during Jan 2017 communications. When auto top-up is deactivated, there is zero consent for our credit cards to be charged and is a consumer law violation."

          It sounds as though you are likely one of the customers I was describing that has associated auto-top ups with auto-renewals.

          As described above they are two different features. Due to the felixibility of our plan offerings we need to supprt them both. Many customers who use Pay As You Go credit frequently rely on auto top ups to keep their balance at a level they are comfortable with while many other customers (such as yourself it seems) only require month to month plans without additional credit. In these cases we advise customers to change their plan to a $0 plan if they do not want to renew at the end of their current period.

          Though as I say, this can be confusing for some customers and we are currently designing changes to our portal to make this clearer for all.

          @bgnhunter: When the words 'plan' and 'auto-renewal' are used but are clearly irrelevant about prepaid services, the confusion is undisputedly demonstrated.

          Auto-renewal is not allowed to charge a credit when there is no consent given, which is violation of trade practices. Clearly there is confusion about what is legally appropriate for commercial practice and warrants training in the matter. Current failure of Yomojo to understand basic principles where Yomojo are prohibited from charging customer credit cards without consent demonstrates professional negligence

    • The network is Optus 4G Plus.

      Speedtest results in Melbourne (3004) for 4G are around 30-35mbps.

    $45 cashback on any plan via Cashrewards

    • Is the $45 cash back valid with the mobile data deals as well?

      • +1

        I just received confirmation from CR

        • How long does the cash back take for this?
          Could you leave after one month and still get the cash Back?

  • Seems to be on any spend at yomojo.com.au

  • I've been using Yomojo for a couple of months. Very cheap and reliable service, would recommend.

    Rep, is the "buy 1 month, get 2 free" still on?

    If so, it is superior to this deal
