The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Limited Edition $189 + $8.10 Shipping @ EB Games - Limited Stock

60

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Limited Edition includes:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Game
Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry and Weather-Worn Map
Master Sword Statue
Soundtrack CD
Sheikah Eye Collectible Coin

I know it's $189 but most stores are now selling it at $199 + Shipping so its cheaper than the rest. Not to mention how much it'll be scalped for online when it sells out.

JB HiFi had 1,400 allocated Australia wide so get it whilst it's hot!

  • The shipping cost make this the cheapest online.

    • shame we don't get the same package as overseas (missing carry case)

  • Wish we got the Switch case slip as well in our version.

    • Yeah me too. It actually looks better than the official case Nintendo is selling. We're paying the same amount too.

Ordered the first one, cancelled it a few weeks ago when they said there was no case with it. The case was the best part!

The cases EB are peddling are awful as well. Had to import the Link's tunic version from mightyape.

Also everyone who ordered the Master edition from Amazon in America are getting their orders cancelled. Rumors are someone stole the shipment.

    • Stole the shipment? What the? lol. Already got my Limited Edition ordered from JB. Would've really liked the case but whatever.

They're official Nintendo cases, but the quality looks crap. Gamesmen is selling a better model in my opinion.

      • Jb hi fi has that same one too. I'm using an old 8" laptop bag as a stopgap til the Waterfield case is out

It's $10 cheaper, on something you'll never see again outside of $400 on Ebay. Not like the 'NES in stock' every 3 days.

      • $400 on Ebay

        Seriously?

        • Seriously, Zelda fans are nuts and this is a pretty small run.

        • same junk like the fallout pipboy

        • +2

They're going for about $230 + shipping to $400 on eBay at the moment. Tonnes of them being listed, the Limited Edition doesn't seem to be very 'Limited'.

        • @Kugz: People who don't have any intention of buying a Switch anytime soon are buying these up purely for resell.

This has been up on EB for 8 hours now and is so 'limited' that it still hasn't sold out.

I think it will eventually go for more than $189 in the long run, but I don't believe the Switch is going to sell that many units at launch and the price of these will hover around the $200 mark for a good while.

All my opinion though but happy to be proven wrong.

        • @BargainJunkie: Yeah I've got two copies coming. Got a copy from Amazon for $110 after I pre-ordered my JB-HiFi copy. Getting Switch on Day 1 though :-P

Plastic junk that will sit at the back of your cupboard like 1 million other people

It is not something I would be willing to pay for - But if it is cheaper through this post than previous then it's a deal for those that are in the market.

  • Cheers for the find.

  • Should probably list that it's for the switch on not wii u

  • Is there a wii U LE version? Or just on the switch ?

    • Also interested in this. It's a cop out if the only versions come for the Switch

    • There isn't a WiiU Limited Edition Version but there will be a Limited Collectable Bundle, which contains The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD, a rolled map, collectible coin, and a Master Sword of Resurrection figure. The Limited Collectable Bundle will be available via the Official Nintendo AU/NZ eBay Store.

      • Oh awesome, but being online I'm guessing there's going to be limited numbers for that :(
