I bought this one in October, and it's a great little vac. Cheapest end of the Miele range, usually $329. It does a great job, and is really quiet. I didn't buy the extra power head thingies, and am happy with it as is.

Worth noting that unlike most of the other Miele models that are made in Germany, this one is made in China.
I had to laugh, because the main reason I bought mine was because Miele have such a good reputation with their "German made".
So, as a result of your comment, and as I hadn't put the vacuum away after using it this morning I turned it over, and sure enough, shock horror, Made in China.
Oh well, I can't say I'm any less happy with it for knowing that, and I might not have bought it if I had known beforehand.

my parents have the one made in china, has not missed a beat as they say..still going strong.
Made in china with a Chinese price and built on german quality(is that really a thing anymore)
