Hey OzB!
I'm wondering what the best way to keep track of flight offers over a period of time might be, rather than only on one day (e.g. as how SkyScanner alerts seem to be configured).
Late 2016 I went overseas for some study, and I was able to travel a lot of Europe on a railpass which was great in terms of price and flexibility! I'm really happy with how it all turned out :). However, in June 2017 I'm set to come home to Australia (bittersweet!) but I have a leeway of coming back anytime between June 1st to June 20th (or thereabouts).
I'm currently in Sweden, and I've done a lot of Europe now, so I was hoping in those 3 or so weeks to quickly cover perhaps Stockholm > Athens > Cairo > Mumbai/New Delhi > Bangkok > Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City > Singapore > Kuala Lumpur > Sydney (so around 3 days each).
With so much flexibility on when I leave/travel, I'm hoping that setting price alerts for each and every day isn't the only option, and I'm not sure if setting price alerts also takes into account periodic sales airlines might have. I'm not terribly fussed on the short hop flights, my main concern is that obviously on OzB I can see all these great return flight offers from SYD to many of the above destinations but how might I track the best day/flight to get from Kuala Lumpur back to Australia (for example) if I have a whole week I could do it in?
Thanks for any help OzB! You've always been the best community :)
Cheers,
JC
Maybe use hopper app
Or the kayak app
I prefer google flights website rather than skyscanner
If you want to build cheap multi city flight
On the google flights page use a one way fare and look at the calendar without entering dates . The prices then will slowly appear for each day. Note down cheapest days for the connections you want, then use multi city function and enter the cities and cheap dates that way.
