    A bit of a roundabout way, but if you buy a digital gift card from the website it'll allow you to use an overseas card. Then email the gift card to yourself, redeem that, remove your credit card from the amazon account and then try to repurchase it'll use the gift card credit :P

      Woohoo, that worked. As mentioned, had to remove any stored cards before it accepted the gift card.

  What I did for Amazon Video purchases was put a fake card (generated) with a US address and buy gift cards with my au credit card to load up the account.

  I highly recommend making a Disney Movies Anywhere account and this will post to US iTunes as mentioned but also Microsoft and Google.
