First post, but have been here a while so feel free to ride hard.

As a long time fan of Globes, I thought that this was a great deal.

On the table today, we have:
Globe Focus (Black/White Pinstripe)
Globe Pledge (White/Black Split) and
Globe Pledge (Chinchilla/White)

Limit of two per customer.

Sizes vary, although there is a good range between sizes 9 and 13 (US). Stock levels at > 80% at time of posting.

I picked up two pairs for a total of $66 incl shipping.

      I check 1-day regularly, but COTD is so hit and miss I like it when people just point out the good stuff for me!

      Also with 1-day, I like the discussions that ensue here on certain products, so it helps me decide whether or not to buy something (but agreed, some people seem to just post every random daily deal, whether it's genuinely exciting or not)

      I'm a regular but I don't want my inbox cluttered with largely junk so I don't subscribe to any of them.
      I always come here at midday to check out anything good from those sites.
      Having said that, PricesEngine is looking like it might have good deals all the time, as opposed to predominantly junk with an occasional good deal! I may well subscribe to that.

        I concur. I used to check all the bargain sites religiously, at each of their separate times. Now, I just check ozbargain throughout the day - anything that is worth getting will be here. :)

      Globe shoes would fetch that at a shoes store when first released, I'm sure these are old stock etc but for 30 bucks good deal. Quick look on net shows them around the 100 buck mark, ebay has for like 70 but are they real lol.

    For $30 a pair they are good value. What else do you buy for the same money? KMart or Target no-names probably. I reckon if you get a year or so out of each pair it's money very well spent. I loved my old Globes, but couldn't justify another pair for kicking around at $130…. but at $30, yes please!

      I feel your pain regarding having large appendages. I was pleasantly suprised to find all the styles available in my size (13).

          I had a pair of these shoes sent as part of the 'Bag of crap' deal ($18 shipped) they had a while ago.

          I must say, the sizes are consistent with NB/Brooks. I'm size US 11, and the pair that they sent was 11. Despite being slightly bigger than expected, they fit really comfortably.

          And I can't fault the quality either. It's been more than a year, and there are still no signs of wear+tear.

          So get it Davo. :)

    Excellent deal, I payed a while back $100 for a pair of globe shoes. And like nafe said,these shoes are a lot better quality than shoes from Kmart/BigW ect.

    $20 is the starting bid, not necessarily how much it will cost in the end, especially for more popular sizes. Some are already at $25

    Delivery cost is $13 as well.

      eBay auction you linked to also says RRP $149. RRP can be anything, it's just 'recommended'. Not to mention the eBay seller has fewer sizes available, I can't find mine. Admittedly, better designs, but for $36 I think I'll get a cheap pair of kicks from 1-day.

    Thanks for posting - picked up a couple of pairs. And for the record, I don't trawl COTD/Zazz/1-day/etc daily for the bargains - OzBargain consolidates them for me! Haven't, and will not subscribe to them, so thanks for sharing.

    Also looks like I'm the only one who got the Focus black/white, Pledge seems more popular judging by comments :)

      If you change the style after selecting the size, it resets the size. I nearly got caught like that too. Hopefully they can sort out a fix for you.

        No, they couldn't fix it for me. Apparently their systems are entirely automated and they can't intervene and change anything. So now I'm stuck with a pair of size 7s of the wrong style and I don't know what to do with them. I guess it's only about $36 I lost..

    Great price! I love globe shoes. They're very comfortable. Especially the wide skater style ones. I usually pick them up when they're on sale for under $40. Now I don't even have to leave my house.

    They've only got the focus left. I bought 2… hopefully they look alright. That way when I wear out the first pair, I'll have another ready to go. Or I could give them to my brother who wears the same size.

      I ordered size 10 pledges but they sent me size 10 focus. This happened to my coworker as well. Now we're stuck with shoes we didn't want.

    I ordered size 12's, they are much smaller than any of the size 12's I have, should have got 13-15's =/

    I received my pledge's today but ordered a size 11 as I thought a 12 would be too big.. (basing off current size 12 globe shoes). But they are too small.. might just be the style of shoe.

    I have emailed 1day to see if they have any stock leftover, don't like my chances though.

      Yeah, what the hell is wrong with these sizes? I normally wear size 8 or 8 and half but I ordered size 9 just to be on the safe side and guess what it's small and doesn't fit.

    Weird. It looks like either I have smaller feet than I thought, or I was lucky to get a model that was slightly bigger than my regular size.

    I finally received my two pairs today.

    I chose the size 13 (my regular size) for the Focus and size 12 for the Pledge (I thought they would be thinner internally).

    The Focus shoes fit well and while they are a little tight at the moment, I've stuffed the Pledges with paper so they should stretch out fine.
