Given that the upgrades help it keep up with most if not all latops you'd buy off the shelf (except gaming) I'd love to try get $500ish for it. Am I dreaming?

Thanks.

  • How old is it? I'm guessing 5 years?

    What brand and model number?

    • Wow I feel like an idiot. The only things I didn't paste in. Added to original post.

  • I'd say its worth $450, you are better off selling the ram upgrade and ssd seperately to the notebook, you might get abit more.

    • Already sold off the old RAM and using the original drive in a USB case 😀

    Probably more like $300.

SSD and RAM wont add massive value, some users might prefer the 1TB HDD. Personally I'd switch my DVD for it.

  • Don't think it's worth anything… sorry mate. Maybe $300-350 if your lucky.

  • I would suggest you are probably going to need to test the market to determine what you can achieve.
Stick it on Gumtree at 500 bucks and see if there is any interest.

The other option is to let the market speak, list it on eBay starting at 99 cents.
I would imagine option a will yield you a better result

    $250-$300
    5 year old consumer laptop

  • Laptops don't hold their value well, but your's is pretty high specced, except for the graphics card. I would stick it up on gumtree for $599. You wont sell it at that price but you can get haggled down to $450-$500.

Between 190-400 asking price going by gumtree. Probably $300 max is realistic. Part it out you would get more on ebay, but not much.

So yes your dreaming to get $500, sorry
