They're not the cheapest. Get a quote from the local guys, the independents and the likes of Bob Jane, Jax, and Beaurepairs.
i used them paid extra $79 for wheel alignment had them fitted but dealer wouldn't do the alignment because he would be losing money
contacted them got reimbursed the $79 about 3 weeks later after a couple of phone calls. As for the puncture 12 months roadside assistance
i ordered in nov i am still waiting have made about 15 calls to them they are always going to call me back within 1-2 working days but never happens.
All that aside the tyres themselves were a good deal about $200 cheaper than what i could have got from the dealer who fitted them.
Got 4 new tyres for my Honda, had it fitted/aligned at a Nissan dealer (who also cleaned my car). Very happy with the result.
Apparently they had to do the alignment 3 times because their machine was super accurate.
Used them 2 years ago, had a good experience. However, 12 months ago, when I was looking again, they were no longer the cheapest option. I got a better deal at KMart Tyre & Auto.
They were the cheapest option for the tyres I wanted for my VW 3 years ago but you need to be careful with who you get to fit the tyres because they get random car dealers to do the work.
After I put my order in they called to say my selected fitter wasn't available (VW dealer near the city) and gave me some others to pick from. I picked a Toyota dealer, and thats when things went pear shaped (not tyresales fault). About a 1.5 weeks later the dealer received the tyres and I took the VW in to get the tyres fitted. A grumpy lady welcomed me with a 'You're at the wrong place', so I explained I was here to get my tyres fitted. She walked off and someone else came over and said he liked VWs so he'll take care of it. A few hours later I get a call asking how to get the wheels off (the lug nut covers were too hard to figure out alone I guess). That afternoon I picked up the car and the tyres were exactly what I wanted. When I got home I'd realised they'd put deep scrapes into my alloys nearly all the way around on 1 rim, and big chips and smaller scrapes on the other 3 rims. I took pictures and emailed them to both tyresales and the dealer - no response. I called the dealer and he denied that they could have done it even though the circular scrapes around the worst rim were in a spot that could only have been scraped with the tyre off. Eventually I got the dealer to cover 70% of the cost to repair the worst rim but not the others and they never accepted that they damaged the rims. Tyresales (which was CCed into every email) never responded either.
Oh, and I was also supposed to get 12 months of roadside assistance but I never heard anything about it after I paid and I didn't bother chasing it up.
The Toyota lady was right - I did go to the wrong place.
