  These were $12 for 3.4kg before…

  Looks like they decreased the jar size so they could push up the price.

    Those were unpitted though. I remember them, they came in red plastic jars only an industrial chemist could love and took me ages to finish. Next time I'll buy smaller quantities.

  Pitted olives taste awful, they become bland and rubbery when pitted.

      Always Fresh jarred pitted olives are good.

  All the olives I've bought previously say "Once opened, use within 10 days" or similar on the jar. I usually end up throwing out half the jar because of this.

  Is this warning legit, and if so, anyone got tips on extending that time?
