If so, I'm just wondering if there's a set combination of pieces supposed to go into Streetwise Dinner Box? On numerous occasions we've had all but about 3 pieces in the pack given as wings. There are only 2 of us, and we tend to get a couple of nights out of the pack, but obviously when it's nearly all wings that's not going to happen. lol

not in the big buckets and stuff. they do have a set peice list that they give you - cant remember exactly what it is - read it on whirlpool ages ago
I don't know, but often the piece of the wing is supposed to be attached to a larger segment, but when there is a 12 piece sale like now. It seems that they will as a result of the promotion, generally count a wing as a separate piece, when there shouldn't be a wing unless you are ordering wicked wings. I've never seen a wing sold by itself as Original Recipe except during the promotional times.
I'd advise to steer clear of KFC during the 12 piece promos unless you are getting the 12 pieces.

Yeah, the bigger wing piece is cut in half. So you only get a tiny wing section.
People don't realise this is not actually one of the pieces of KFC chicken, but many franchises will cut this into an extra piece during the promotions.
Maybe I was too concise with my response but of course you get a wing… But I'm not talking about that wing, I'm talking about the half wing which is like the one you buy at the butchers…
Sometimes the tip of the wing will also be sold as a separate piece. KFC does not have a half wing as a set recipe item.

From purchasing it regularly I've found Streetwise Feast always seems to have a minimum of 2 wings. Usually 1 breast, 1 rib or 1 thigh, 2 drumsticks, 2 wings. I would guess that this is the set combination.
Well if you ask and the employee doesn't care, you could get the pieces you prefer.
But I think at least 1-2 pieces has to be wings.
Usually for me when I get 8 pieces of chicken, I ask for thighs and in the system they can put 4 thighs in and for the remaining 4 pieces, usually get 2 wings, 1 breast, 1 drum.
So it depends but I think you have to get at least 1 wing.
So it sounds like 6 or 7 wings is definitely NOT standard for it. May have to follow that up if it continues. Thanks all.
Streewise Feast should have 1 of each piece + 1 extra small piece, either wing or leg. So you should get a maxiumum of 2 wings
