Hi everyone! I'm just about to buy a Asus Zenfone 3 for $419. Has anyone had any issues with this phone or think there's another phone I should be getting instead. Cheers.

Still. I did a quick search on google and found couple under 400. and I don't think there were any problems with the phone but who knows?
The phone is frankly quite unpopular so not much attention has gone into finding flaws than other popular phones.
After shipping, I found this was almost the cheapest by a few dollars. I'll found out what flaws it has soon as I have now bought it.
How's the Zenfone 3 going? Looking to replace my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro purely as the camera is just to average.
I have been really enjoying it. If the camera is the main reason you're looking at it, I'll take some photos and post them here. I can also try to answer any other questions about the phone.
Seems the Zenfone 2 left a few bitter and while pretty good reviews elsewhere it's hard to find actual users of this phone. Camera and general usage Internet (I don't play games) along with maybe GPS (another slight downside on the Redmi 3 Pro - need to keep it up at the windscreen to avoid losing GPS reception) mostly for general navigation but also I record travels when 4WDing.
Audio is another which this phone can do Hi-Res as well, so seems feature packed, granted the CPU could be beeefier but looks like Asus have nutted this CPU and battery usage out while getting reasonable performance.
How's the battery life, get a full day with a bit spare?
If you want to put a photo up that'll be great, have seen samples but you never know how 'tweaked' they have been.

My partner used to have the Zenfone 2 while I had a Nexus 5 and I wasn't impressed with hers mainly because of the overall design and feel of the phone. ZenUI didn't appeal to me either but I was just used to a stock android experience, after messing about I have everything just the way I like it now. Also I chose to upgrade to the Zenfone 3 from a Nexus 5X and it's been a massive improvement, mostly for it's 4GB RAM against the 5X 2GB, but also higher storage, bigger battery and expandable.
As for GPS, I haven't had the chance to use it yet.
Battery life always gives me more than a day but again I haven't needed GPS and that will probably affect it.
I'll post the pictures here tomorrow and if I use different settings at all I'll include them too.

Awesome - thanks for that. SOLD! - I was starting to think of an OPPO R9s, but yeah these are way better than the Remi Note 3 and OPPO doesn't have the better Audio chip that the Asus does :)
Photos were handy. Grass showing it's sharp and not turning into mush, plus handle the shadows from the sheds. Close-up gerat to see how it handles Depth of Field and damn sharp, and 3rd for indoors, yeah ok a bit of noise in the shadows, but handled the backlighting coming in from the window pretty well.

That price seems good, the seller seems good from what I hear from other people. I am still very happy with this phone after owning it for a little while. Plus it got the Android 7.0 update not too long ago which I wasn't expecting for much later.
Does it have NFC?
I am planning on buying Zenfone 3, either ZE552KL or ZE520KL.
There is $100 price difference between the 2, which one would you recommend?Seems like mine doesn't have NFC unfortunately. I compared the specs between the ZE552KL and the ZE520KL and I saw differences in overall screen/phone size and with that a 3000mah battery vs the smaller 2600mah.
As for a recommendation, just choose between a bigger phone or a slightly smaller one.
