Anyone had to make a claim on one of the extended warranties that come with credit cards? Was your experience good, bad, or indifferent?
I have a Surface Pro 3 which is showing a problem with the display (yellow band on left edge of screen). The warranty expired 5 months ago but my CBA card has an extended warranty from Allianz.
I'm curious to know if the claims process was easy and who repairs it. Can I expect it to be sent to Microsoft for repair, or some other repair shop?
Just use your rights under consumer law
provided you have proof of purchase and that you didn't cause the fault they should help you out
