At age one your baby is beginning to enjoy the freedom of moving and may be walking.
Full of energy, your toddler is active and inquisitive and needs plenty of energy and nutrients to grow and play.
At this age you can continue to breastfeed or cows' milk can be introduced as your child's main milk drink. However cows' milk is not a good source of iron.
Heinz Nurture Toddler® Milk Drinks have been specially developed to provide the goodness of milk but with higher iron, zinc and iodine to help meet the needs of active toddlers.
They are convenient and can be used by the whole family. To encourage healthy eating habits from an early age, it is best to choose a Toddler milk that does not contain added flavourings or sugar (sucrose).
Overview
One serve (230mL) provides:
50% of the Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) of iron.
25% RDI Zinc.
34% RDI Calcium.
50% RDI Iodine.
Omega 3 fats such as DHA are considered important for brain and visual development. Probiotics (which are friendly bacteria such as acidophilus) and fibre help maintain a healthy digestive system.
Although I should add that breastmilk is the very best food for your baby.
