Motorcycle Servicing Tools Where to Buy

Hi

I currently live in Darwin. Recently Bought a ninja 250. I was looking for stores even online where I can buy like the Motorcycle stand's and all tools for a Motorcycle.

As I am new to this hardware part I am not sure which website to trust. Or which place to go to get the best Bargain..?

Your help is much appreciated.

Cheers

You could just search for motorcycle dealers and go have a chat. I'd suggest basic motorcycle tools can be had from super cheap auto and repco (and Darwin is big enough to likely have both of those right?)

I used to have a Ninja 250 (the GPX version) and the tools required to service it weren't particularly specialised..

You can also pickup a number of tools (and motorcycle stands and other gear) when Aldi do their 6/12 month motorcycle specials.

The stands in particular aren't particularly hot sellers and some Aldi stores are still holding stock for 3-4 months after release.. (and marked down)

    • I was looking for the torque wrench and Aldi some times has it for 20 bucks but at SCA or repco or Bunnings has it for 100 bucks. We don't have ALDI up here soo disappointed :(

    Supercheapauto

can be used for bikes too

Chain and tackle is good too if you have a strong enough anchor point in the garage.

SCA have general tools but no motorcycle specific tools, obvs some things but not an awful lot. I buy Motul 3000 10w-40 oil from AMX superstores, buy more than 8L and you get free shipping because its over $100 (there is another store that's slightly cheaper in Brisbane I believe..). I get oil filters on eBay from china, chains generally from eBay and a lot of other things that I need reasonably quickly from thirdgear.com.au (this includes motorcycle specific tools)
