    Dott is sweet

  • This is a great deal post OP!. Great for anyone just starting a collection and most games cover Windows, Mac and Linux. Great charities supported here too. Plus Humble Bundle is matching contributions up to $300000.

  • I'm considering going halves with a friend. Do the games have seperate steam keys?

    • +3

They normally do, I can't verify this bundle, (I have most of the games already so won't be getting) but typically they are all individual keys. You might get a few where it's a bundle of games or a game and the expansions, but for the most part they will be individual keys.

    • +4

A good number of the games listed here are DRM* free (look for the little "DRM FREE" icon in the bottom left corner of each game image), meaning that you can just download and install - no need to redeem the steam keys and then run the game via steam.

*DRM stands for Digital Rights Management, which controls how freely you are able to use and distribute the software. The Steam platform is a form of DRM.

Edit: You usually get only a single steam key for each game. The downside of not redeeming via steam is that you don't get the perks of using steam, such as sharing your achievements and whatnot.

    • +11

Just bought it, yes they all have separate individual steam keys.

    • +2

They have individual keys and if you don't trust your friend they also give you (the buyer) the option to "gift" individual keys to the person via links.

    • +20

I have a better idea. Buy the bundle and then gift the extra Stardew key to someone!

      • +2

Pretty much what I'm doing, bought it for The Witness and a couple others, giving the rest to mates.

    • -4

whoa neg 37, when you want to go tighter then tight, expect a neg.

      • +1

being thrifty and being a beggar are quite different.

  • pretty much bought all of these separately on steam my self besides nuclear throne
definitely worth it for the price

    • Own most myself but still considering buying anyway; Giving out the individual keys to family/friends in a greeting card, makes for cheap gift giving.

      • I ended up getting nuclear throne within an hour of posting this comment :)traded a few games for it

  • Amazing bundle!

I've got Stardew Valley already but even so this bundle is really worth it. Would urge anyone new to PC gaming or on Steam to buy this.

Plus the money goes to charities!

    • +7

What do you have against free speech?

    • +13

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

Evelyn Hall - The Friends of Voltaire.

    • +4

They're not defending him or his opinion they're defending his right to express his opinion.

    • +2

Been following Milo for over a year. I don't agree with all of his ideas but he's incredibly entertaining to watch and I love how he has exposed the new age safe space, trigger-warning, 50+sexual gender, leftists - as horrible regressive people.

People like you are the reason BLM successfully lobbied FOR racial segregation on campuses around America. Now there's separate dorms for black and white students. Martin Luther King would be rolling in his grave that his legacy turned full circle back to segregation and racial divides. Hopefully soon the BLM hate movement will be classified as a domestic terror organisation.

You people make Milo powerful. Please keep up your SJW speech when and where ever you can. It really helps Milo and that's great.

It's been incredible watching his following explode as the safe space left collapses on itself and implodes.

I remember a time when the left used to say "I don't agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it".

Thankfully the ACLU still does too.

  • +5

It's a very average and expensive indie bundle.

    Pass.

    • +2

So a bunch of games you won't ever play as per usual but it's expensive this time you say sir.

      • +10

        Ummm, sure?

You don't think $40AUD for a humble bundle of indie games isn't?

        • I don't know, I usually only buy games that I can play multiplayer.

    • Agreed, this is pretty meh. Previous Humble was far better.. I'd rather go for a random indiegala bundle than this inflated collection

  • +4

It's worth it for DOTT, Stanley Parable and The Witness alone. That it's going towards charity is the icing.

    • +1

Don't forget stardew valley. Still waiting for that game to go half price!

      • +1

for Witness and Stardew valley combo, well worth it. You won't get a better deal than this.

  • +1

Recommend Invisible Inc, its very good game if you like turn based RTS with stealth gameplay.

  • +2

If you're on the fence with this deal, keep in mind that 100% of the money will be going to charity. So it's a win win!

  • If you have some of the games, can you gift (or sell) them on gumtree?

    • -1

Selling bundle keys is a BIG, BIG no no. Trading keys is fine but selling can get you banned.

      • Oh. I didn't know that.

        • No problem. And of course you can gift them to your friends, or give them away.
Basically, making profit/money from them is prohibited and against the terms and conditions of virtually all bundle sites.

        • +2

@Lysander: and one cares what so ever … check up any of these games on g2a u will see them plummeting

        • -1

@mp3police: Stardew is hitting about $9 atm, dropping quick. Managed to get in there quick and pulled a nice $14 before that happened.

        • @mp3police:

Come on seriously G2A? Do you actively hate the gaming community?

        • @mp3police:

When you create a gift link this link has an unique identifier. If you then sell gift links (or the underlying keys) these can be traced back to you. Therefore, if the sites want to enforce it then can just do a sample purchase, find the identifier, trace it back to your account and then ban you.
          Really fairly easy.

    • They're your keys you can do whatever you like with them. Also how can selling keys get you banned? They aren't assigned to your Steam account unless he means banned from the place you're trying to sell them at? In that case just read the TOS.

      • The keys are "your's" per-say, they just grant a usage licence to the redeemer.

        • That's just getting pedantic. What links your identity to the keys? You buy them on Humble and you're given a key. There's no unique identifier that says it's your key and can't be sold or traded. Humble doesn't link Steam accounts.

        • @Yuri Lowell:

You agree to the T&Cs which state exactly that, namely that you cannot sell the keys or gift links. And yes, gift links have unique identifiers and also the underlying keys can be traced back. That is how you can get your games back if someone hacks into your account and steals the keys. You will get them back and the person who has used them has them invalidated.

  • If anyone gets his and doesn't want The Witness (assuming because they already have it) PM me we might be able to come to an arrangement - I have a stack of other steam keys from past bundles or could throw some dollars your way also.

  • -1

I would struggle to believe that anyone who likes video games couldn't find $40 worth of entertainment in this bundle. Only catch is a lot of people will already have some or most of the games.

  • what about android?
I have Super Hexagon on my Android phone. Pretty good.

    • +1

Yeah was curious about this too. Clicking through all the games on the website, Mini Metro is the only one which has an Android symbol under platforms so maybe you get the Android version of that game.

      • +1

Can install Mini Metro on Android, log into HB and in the download section there is a pull down for Android.

        • Sweet, makes this deal even more worth it for me since I was pretty keen on buying the Android app (On top of all the other amazing games in the bundle!) :)

  • +1

Some of these games retail for USD$20 - there's at least five or six great new games here plus some classic older ones (Stanley Parable, World of Goo, VVVVV)- definitely a great package, and for a good cause.. thanks OP!

  • +3

Very nice set of games, was looking to get The Witness and Stardew, and got 5 more games I was interested in too. Donated all of it to the ACLU since they're gonna need it with this administration.

  • I'll probably get this, but god damn, I'm running out of people to give Day of The Tentacle to.

  • If anybody wants to trade The Witness, DOTT or Stanley Parable for games from the Square Enix Christmas surprise bundle, let me know. I still have everything except FF (accidentally redeemed).

  • -6

The only good game is stardew valley, the rest are backyard developed 2 dollar games.

    • +2

The witness is retailed for over $20

      • Isn't that the walk around in circles and look @ stuff "game"?.

        • +1

Yep. Haven't played it, but it received strong reviews.

        • +1

It's a very highly acclaimed game by the genius who created Braid.

        • -1

@mgowen: I bought braid on xbox when it first came out. Over priced garbage and yes I did complete the game.

    • +1

      Witness is incredible.

      • +2

Seconded. The Witness is easily one of the best (and most original) puzzle games I've ever played.

    • Rubbish.

Nuclear Throne, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, and The Stanley Parable are good games.

I imagine others are as well.

    • +1

      LucasArts

  • Overgrowth is still in Alpha, but looks the goods for the future.

Just watch a couple of the blog updates, and you will see how detailed the developers get.

    http://blog.wolfire.com/

    Retails for $30 atm.

    • Man i remember playing this game years ago, cant believe its actually getting updates now.

    • I thought it finally went beta only couple of weeks ago and they were focusing on the single player now.

      • Yeah your right, just went beta.

Just found out that the devs were responsible for creating the 1st humble bundle!

  • If you're keen on any of the following to trade for other keys you have PM me, I have the following (likely more popular) games from the bundle available:
    Nuclear Throne
    Octodad - Dadliest Catch
    Overgrowth
    Retro Game Crunch
    Thirty Flights of Loving

I also don't want/need most of the other smaller games in the second half of the bundle.. PM me if you're keen for any of them in particular (anything else not listed that I still have you can have for free).

    • Now just Octodad and Overgrowth available plus other miscellaneous ones from the second half of the bundle.

  • If anyone wants to pass on a day of the tentacle key or Stanley parable key I'd love it. Not sure if it's possible to trade stream wallet fund but if it is I'll tip :) just PM me

  • +1

Some keys are sold out such as Subnautica. Pity, it's the only game I really wanted.

Bought it for the cause so if anyone has a spare Subnautica key I'd gladly trade for some or a few games I already own such as Guacamelee, Octodad, Roller Derby Disco Dodgeball (which is amazing at LAN's by the way).

    • Or Supreme Commander 2, Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® - Game of the Year, Company of Heroes Complete Edition, PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX+, Just Cause Collection. Seems I have some spare keys laying about.

  • +1
Merged from Humble Bundle Freedom Bundle Has Even More Games.

Even more games added to the humble bundle freedom bundle. so if you have already bought it, head on over to you purchase page and claim them, if not then you can go buy it now. But subnauitica is sold out and super meat boy only has Drm-free left so if you were looking for those games the you are out of luck.

  • +1

hmm I really only want Stardew Valley and DoTT Remastered

  • I have an extra Stardew Valley and happy to trade with a Subnautica :)

  • Very nice set of games
