Are there any manufacturers that do warranty support for grey imports? I'm always tempted to purchase something from China but without local warranty support I will never do it. A list of brands that support imports would be ideal.

Most swizz watch brands also do it.

So paying more money for something that you almost never needed.
Fujifilm support grey import / overseas - I think worldwide warranty for most of their devices
Apple would also be the next in line - Global Warranty of devices, although limited for 1 year and not 2 under ACL
Sony usually include grey import devices worldwide provided its bought from an authorized reseller
Isn't most brand product from China is actually non genuine?
That's right, the iPhones made in China aren't the genuine ones.
Asus used to have world wide warranty. not sure now, it's been a while since i've purchased anything asus.
I know Apple is one. I've also had a Sony camera replaced by Sony Australia, even though I purchased it in HK
