Up to 10% Cash Back (Minimum 7%) from AliExpress with Alibonus (Now with PayPal Withdrawal)

230

Alibonus is a cashback system for Aliexpress.

Set up primarily for Russians who buy on aliexpress

it gives a cashback of 10%.

previously you could only withdraw through WMR, WMZ, Yandex.Money, QIWI, Russian Phone accounts, Russian banks.

however when i checked tonight they have now included paypal as a withdrawal method!!! awesome.

I've been using it for about 8 months and was going to withdraw through Yandex money (it's complicated) but paypal have totally opened it up for ozbargainers and non-russians.

10% cash back on usually cheaper goods makes them even cheaper.

EDIT - 1 march it took 9 days from making my claim for pay out to actually receiving paypal funds. Funds received as from "Creativepoint Ltd" Creativepoint Ltd - I wasn't sure what it was from at first. now that it has been done once then it may be faster next time.

  • Does it have a redirect URL for tracking…
Or is a browser tracker / mobile app mandatory?

    • ok, so I use chrome. when i set up alibonus I had the option of adding alibonus as an extension

      browser tracker

      check out this screen dump

in the right hand corner is a red square and a red circle.

the red square is aliexpress price checker

      the red circle is alibonus

      • … Yea, I'd prefer to not have their extension/app tracking every website I visit.

Is there a tracking URL I can use instead?

  • Is this 10% cashback on anything on Aliexpress?

    • on everything.

  • What's the waiting period to access the cashback? Is it 3 months + like CR? Looking at the 8 "user reviews", they managed to use the word "cute" in 3 of them to describe AliBonus - interesting description & totally legit ;)

    • the most recent confirmed cashbacks are from orders placed on 22/12/2016. these are orders that i have confirmed with aliexpress to have received and alipay have released funds to the sellers. the oldest unconfirmed order is 2/12/2016

    Does it stack with CR?

  • @ Altomic

In regards to the various discount levels….. do you only need to accumulate purchases to the value of each teir once? There is no necessity to spend at a certain level once you reach the maximum teir (which is USD$200 in purchases?).

    • honestly don't know for sure. I'd assume reaching the maximum level . I just buy a steady stream of crap and it has stayed at 10%

      • Lol…..should be easy enough.

        благодаря!

        PS.

Prior to them offering PayPal, how were you going to recover your cashback?

        • I think my original idea was to use QIWI. I just let the money in alibonus to build.

          the plan was:

          (1) transfer the money to an account with QIWI
          (2) then use those QIWI funds to buy stuff from aliexpress.
          (3) ????
          (4) PROFIT!!!

        • @altomic:

LOL…..courageous! Your OzBargain membership is secure.

Well, I'm glad they've bought in PayPal. Speaking of which, did paypal take anything from cashback amount?

ok, I sent them an email and they replied…. apparently once you reach the 10% level you stay there indefinately.

  • 10% cashback sitewide, in perpetuity…intredasting…DJI Mavic Pro for USD$539.10, under threshold for GST, and obviously preorder only. Hmmm…legit or not I wonder? This retailer has Trade Assurance too.

    • I'm sure the devil will be in the detail. US$539 must be under wholesale cost.

      • $599 list price less cashback. Minimum order is 1 unit, although they claim they can do "60 million/month" units. Given it's a preorder I wonder if they're just going to take the money and then evaporate.

        • that's alibaba. the wholesale/supplier site.

        • although they claim they can do "60 million/month"

I'd probably start with one first, and go from there.

        • @ash2000:

I am tempted at that price, under $800 is fricking amazing for a Mavic, and given it has Trade Assurance too.

        • @altomic:

Yeah, so no cashback. But even without the cashback that is a super cheap price. That said, even though they claim to be able to provide just one unit, they will probably jack the price or charge a fortune for shipping.

          Who knows!

I'm still grieving from not pulling the trigger in that bing lee deal though.

Just a quick post script to AliBonus…… I've been doing a bit of calculating…. To reach the maximum 10% discount you need to accumulate $200usd in Cashback payments. Given this, you'd to spend between USD$2400 and $2700.

I originally thought it was usd$200 expenditure to active the 10%, but indeed you need usd$200 in cashback.

That said the 7% minimum is still equal to that offered by cash rewards and tracking confirmation is received with 30 minutes, rather than between 2-7 days with cash rewards.

  • Android users…. If you install the alibonus app (100% English ) you can start earning 10% immediately.

Additionally, as the alibonus app links directly to the aliexpress app, you will also be able to get the lower "mobile app only" pricing which appears on most products.

Note that alibonus does not pay rewards on postage.

Must have been a promotion because it's put me at 7% (newbie) when I made an account on the android app just now :(.

      • +1

No, I think it was a system error…….. It showed up as 10% for all my purchases on both the app and webpage. Logged back on a few days later, and everything was converted back to 7%. :(

        • Ah I see, that's a shame. On one hand, I could try to build up to 10% cashback, on the other hand I can wait for another cashrewards 10% off in several month's time. If I do the former, then I will eventually have 10% off everything at AliE, but if I do the latter, I'll probably save more money not buying random crap… choices, choices :(.

  • why cashrewards doesnt match? i am going to make an order from aliexpress if cashrewards doesnt match i will have to use alibonus

  • Two questions, does this mean that I have to lose about a 3% conversion fee (built in, not international transaction fee) because the cashback is in USD? Furthermore, do they charge what appears to be a commission for all their withdrawals including paypal? It states "commission for the rest of the world: 5,4% + 10 RUB." Does this mean that I lose 5.4% commission + 10RUB + currency conversion fess to withdraw as AUD in paypal?

  • Couldn't find it on their website. Anyone know what the discount levels are?

  • -1

Get the same with cashrewards, whats the point in using another platform we have never heard of?

  • An additional saving 6/25 with code OPENBANK2017 on Aliexpress

  • OK nobody seems to know how this really works. I'll explain it to you, this is inferior to cashrewards, especially since cashrewards now works with the mobile app. It only gives cashback in USD.

I received 6.3% cashback with the Alibonus app. Very poor performance. Furthermore, I've got a lot of orders finished but they are still pending so I can't even take the cash out. It now has some ultra weird split category cashback (only 4.69% for mobile phones and 6.73% for everything else). Their new cash back system sucks ranging from 5.5% to 8.25% (on the condition that you have cashed back $2584, what a friggen joke).

You double lose when the app takes their 5.4% cut and then paypal takes their 3% conversion cut.

Bottom line: DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE JOKE OF A RIP OFF, UNRELIABLE, POOR PERFORMANCE CASHBACK SYSTEM

  • Hi. Anyone can answer a question? It says 10%. But I just received the notification. Transaction: AliExpress
    Sale Date: 16 Aug 2017
    Amount: USD 567.54
    Cashback: AUD 22.46
    Estimated: 14 Nov 2017

    Much less than 10%.

    • Yes, sadly it has dropped to 4.75% in the last week.

      • Wrong post here. I used cashrewards.

        • tightarse or Clear are reps drop them a PM
