Adelaide's 'west end' comes alive with traditional Greek cuisine
The Greek Mezze (pronounced 'mez-ah') is an impressive addition to the city's popular dining destination - Gouger Street. The Greek Mezze opened its doors in February 2006, serving authentic Greek flare with a fresh, modern style. Mezze translating to mini dishes designed to complement beverage, tantalising taste buds and encourage diners to socialise around tables, enjoying good conversation and food.
The Greek Mezze platters include tasty dolmades (vine leaves filled with fresh herbs and rice); spanakopita (spinach and fetta in phyllo pastry); kalamari, whitebait and bakaliaro (preserved fish); moussaka (beef, eggplant, tomato and cheese); keftedes (meatballs); krokettes (zucchini and fetta patties) served with skordalia (garlic and potato dip); tis skaras ortiki (marinated quail scented with rosemary); louckania (pork and orange sausage) and two styles of cheese, pan fried halloumi and saganaki me kefalogravera.
Proprietor Ron Masullo along with his chefs has created a tempting menu using traditional style marinades. Main course highlights include katsiki furno (braised baby goat and potato) and garides saganaki (prawns cooked with tomato and fetta).
Seating up to 110 patrons, the restaurant's de core is sleek and contemporary, featuring scenic black and white photographs of the exotic Greek Isles. The stylish setting provides an ideal location for work functions and group celebrations.

Lunch: Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30am
Dinner: Monday through to Sunday from 5pm till late
