Unfortunately today I was robbed of my wallet which had my drivers license, credit cards, bank cards, medicare card - ie enough information for identity theft/credit theft etc.
I signed up to veda alerting and noticed this in my file access for today: YC & I
is it something to be concerned about?
I ordered my credit report two weeks ago. And the day the file was emailed to me. Was when I too had a yc&i reference.

I requested an amendment to my file and had this code as well.
Recently Veda had a name change. That is what now shows on your credit file. I thought it was strange myself till I looked into it a bit further. No need to be concerned.
The name was changed to Equifax.

OP is saying that "YC & I" is appearing on their credit file,not Equifax.
I think it means that you did a your credit inquiry today. Since you are paying for the service, ask them, get some money's worth!
