Wow $60 for the entry + to/from (~3hrs drive) is cheap.
Wondering how much for entry? They charge /person or /car?
Went to Mt Buller with a company called Extragreen over the school holidays. Renting clothes is definitely a waste of money, they cost I think $30-40 for suit+jacket (things you have at home are most likely suitable) and helmet was $15 extra. It cost $200 to rent clothes/helmet/skis/1hr instructions + to/from via coach.
If you're not intending to ski/snowboard it costs I think $60 for return way/entry.
