Creepy Google Failing Again

For some reason Google appears to have decided that I am in desperate need of advice on how to live in a car because I'm homeless. I am, just for the record, far from being homeless because I own the home I reside in currently.

For the last month or so Youtube has been constantly recommending I watch videos by a young woman named Ahle who apparently does how tos on how to live in your car. I watched half of one of her videos out of curiosity about about why is Google showing me this (bad idea, now they think I'm interested) and she appears to be a very practical young woman that I might try and hit on.

Here's Ahle explaining how to live in a car in Murrica (isn't America wonderful! they get cars, the homeless here just get boxes and stuff)

It's creeping me out, why is Google constantly recommending I watch videos by Ahle? Ad revenues? (I block all ads so no idea if she uses ads). But then … the homeless aren't noted for their disposable income so wtf lel.

    Usually if you're signed into Youtube if you go and watch one video with x content, it'll then "recommend" those videos to you until you fill your watch history with other viewings.

    I used to watch a lot of pewdiepie stuff back in the day and then didn't for a very long time. I then watched a little bit of one of his videos and for the next couple of log ins/weeks his videos were appearing in the recommended sections.

    Just click on the 3 dots on the right of the video or channel name and click on not interested

      Doesn't work anymore.
      I'm not Indian but I get a ton of indian content recommended to me.
      I went on a "Not Interested" spree, and clicked on 100+ Ni buttons and they stopped.

      However, Google/YouTube has changed.
      They've made some "improvements". Now I get subscribed to channels I never did.
      Some were unsubbed. And I still get a flurry of Indian content.
      This second volley of Ni spree doesn't work…they still pop-up.

      Guess I will just have to change my race.

        I only use youtube on my phone but i use og youtube 99% less ads and download options i can still click not interested and works i will never use the original again its so bad for ads it drives me crazy
