Shopping Square RA Advice

Long story short, received faulty phone from shopping square during ebay sale. Sent phone back and still have not received it back yet. It's been 5 months. Product is Samsung galaxy edge. Have been in Constant communication, last update was almost 2 months ago saying they sent it back to manufacture. I've asked recently for update about 2 weeks ago, but no response. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? What can I do from here on…. any advice would be appreciated. Ideally I would like a refund as I think the whole process is a joke even for a gray phone. Only used for 2 weeks and now waiting 5 months.

Shoudnt have let it get this far along. Shopping square are literally cancer.

If you payed with paypal, try and dispute it/uprgrade to a claim straight away. Youd be close to the 180 day cutoff.

If not, you dont have too many options. Maybe contact your bank and see if they can charge back but being this far along i dont think theyd be able to do much.

    Edit:
I recently had an issue with a product and they provided a return shipping label(no tracking). 3 weeks later i messaged they said they still havent received it (they're based in sydney and i am in sydney). A month later i file a dispute in paypal. Paypal asks for tracking info which i dont have cause it was reply paid. They then brag through message on their website that i cant prove i sent it back and only offer a refund if i remove my ebay feedback. So i sent them a empty registered post letter with tracking and got my refund from paypal. (+return shipping) Never buy from shopping square.

  • Yeh I actually paid for signature on delivery so I do have tracking and signature.

  • Thanx for the reply I was able to escalate the claim through PayPal, I had a week left .

Crappy seller. Knew their tricky way.

  • Pretty poor seller, thing is after weeks of no reply as soon as I escalate the claim they reply within hours trying to convince me not to escalate as my phone is almost fixed. Don't think I can trust their words unfortunately.
