  • Got the same deal at Morningside, Brisbane - it was advertised in the weekly catalogue too. good deal!

  • Saw this in Victoria too, but the Aldi deal of 30 for $4.99 seems better, even if it's no-name brand (Ultracell).

    • Not sure what these are, but the Aldi's are super heavy duty, not alkaline.

      • These are alkalines.

    • This brand does not last long!

  • Also available in Balwyn (VIC).

    • I removed the reference to Qld.

      Thanks.

  • do i see crunchies in that photo? need my chocolate rush!

  • Any idea the expiry date at the back of the pack?

  • yeh its in perth , very close to the $1 cadbury chocolates….Flake , Twirl , Crucnchie , Boost etc

  • I dot know how cheap this is, I recently got a 20 pack of eveready heavy duty for around the $6 mark, not on special.

    • +1

Heavy duty/Super heavy duty = carbon zinc or zinc chloride. Alkaline cells last much longer in high drain devices. My digital camera won't even work with heavy duty cells. Needs alkaline or better.

      • Well i just learnt something. I had no idea there was a difference!

        • I thought everyone knew that lol. no offence intended although my mate bought super heavy duties for his cheapo LED torch so yeah.

    • +1

These are zinc chloride batteries. Very much inferior to alkaline batteries like Energizer Max.

    • They are worth 10c each

  • Thanks =) Bought one from Eastgardens
