(ALDI) Clearance: Updated List of Items (Post Your Local Clearances)

In the past few months, I've noticed ALDI's clearance items increase hugely. Most of the time it is stock that has been in the store for the while but sometimes it's new stock which mysteriously appears.

So as I go to ALDI in Brunswick multiple times in the week, I'd thought I'd post an updated list of what clearance stuff they have going that looks interesting. We've had people post they've seen cheap bikes or whatever but only a couple in stock.

Spot a good clearance item? Post a comment in this thread with the item, date, location, quantity left and price.

            based on the photo

            That make sense…

Why put it on the box if people can guess from the photo…

1x scroll saw was $149 now $70 @ coorparoo brisbane this afternoon

  • Merged from [NSW] Xfinity Plus 2x 20V 5-in-1 Garden Tool Skin $139.29 (Was $199) @ ALDI Casula
    Go to Deal

Use the stock checker via link below and visit your nearest store and try out your luck. Could also be in other stores.

Saw 11 of them at Casula Aldi marked down from $199 to $139. This Aldi Special Buy was released on 25th Oct for $199 and mostly sold out within 2 weeks in most stores but there are still stores that have stock.

    https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-29-…

Skin only, does not include batteries. Will also have to use stock checker for 2 x batteries either 4ah $50 each or 8ah $100 each. (Most people who bought Aldi Ferrex electric mowers will already have batteries).

From my experience with the line trimmer attachment and the biggest 2 x 8Ah batteries it’s no light weight but still is lighter than a typical elcheapo petrol line trimmer plus it has very little vibration. If I didn't have a big lawn, 4Ah batteries would be better as it would make the unit slightly more lighter. Every gram off the wrist is worth it when it comes to tools like line trimmers. The motor and battery weight is on the back and attachment tools are shaft driven so it’s balanced like a petrol mower which is good and makes it unique compared to most budget line electric line trimmers. It is much quieter than a petrol trimmer (still, you won't be using this at 7am on a weekend). A lot more powerful than Ozito equivalents and feels like a decent alternative to a petrol line trimmer and brush cutter. The other attachments I haven’t used so can’t comment on them.

Happy hunting. To the people that live near the Casula NSW store, 11 left as of Tuesday 6pm. If anyone finds similar discounted stock in other stores, please help the others and comment on which store and how many are left.

I like the tool, I have used the pruner and line trimmer and works well. Tempted to buy this and put return as my $200 purchase

      • How long does it run for? Is it as powerful as a petrol version?

        • +1

I use 8.0Ah batteries x 2 and did 350sqm of lawn (the edges and garden areas) and it used 35% of the battery if you do it fast. If you take your time and do it slowly it uses 40-45% of the battery. It's not as powerful as a petrol trimmer but for $240 - $340 (incl. 4ah or 8 ah batteries), it comes close enough to a general $200-$250 petrol trimmer that you don't really need more power. If you already have Aldi Ferrex Pro batteries that came with your Aldi Mower, the $139 price makes it a no brainer. Just remember to get rid of the cheap trimmer line that comes with the unit and get good quality trimmer line. Also adjust the shoulder strap properly and it takes a lot of weight off your back and wrist and becomes a joy to use.

@Pao2x You have used it, it has served you well. Don't be that guy bro.

I bet you bought this kit for $139 and returned it within hours using the receipt from your purchase at Aldi Ambarvale, and scored $60 savings.

          • @[Deactivated]: You keep panic posting on every Aldi deal, it’s not a competition between Ozito and Ferrex :-) just relax. Calm down.

            • @dreamscene: you keep confusing between panic and sarcastic. you'll get used to it eventually.

              • @[Deactivated]: Calm down. Stop panicking on Aldi deals.

                • @dreamscene: Do you work at Aldi? lol.

                  • @[Deactivated]: It seems Aldi posts makes you panic, gives you twitches. It's ok, just stay calm. It's not a competition between Ozito and Ferrex.

                    • @dreamscene: I felt that my post makes you panic, gives you twitches. it's not ok tho, you should see a doctor. It's not a competition between you and me.

                    • @dreamscene: Dunno man, you keep panic posting on every Aldi deal and then get neg voted by other users. Hehehe. Aldi is good bro, no need to just shill Ozito.

    • Anyone that benefited from this deal or found the same price discounted in other Aldi stores…. it would be good if you post how many are left in your local store and if they also have been discounted. I would assume Aldi would have lowered the price in other stores too, try your luck.

Other stores in victoria have lowered their price

        • Can you please advise which store you have been to in VIC?

      • +1

I picked up one at Drummoyne NSW stores for $119.9 this morning afrer reading this post.

        • Nice. Thanks for the update.

        • Can I ask if there were any batteries at Drummoyne ?

          • @Stuj: There were 2.0Ah ones. No stock for bigger sizes.

          • @Stuj: Aldi has a stock checker. Click the link in the description above, change product to batteries and put in your postcode.

        • +1

Thanks, yes found the stock checker.. might swing by this morning.

    • Have not lowered their price

      • Maybe it’s better you edit your above comment if it was a mistake.

    • Not seen any lowered in WA as yet

    • I managed to get the last one at Drummoyne. Staff discounted to 99.59 after i mentioned Ozbargain and Casula discount. For those that don't have it reduced, ask for a discount and try you luck

      • Nice work.

      • What really? I never knew you could ask for discount at Aldi.

        • It's news to me too.

        • Yes it shocked me too, but it never hurts to ask it seems.

    Go to Deal

Bought the $3.69 caged eggs and $4.50 10-Pattern Spray Nozzle…

And also noticed the following of dreamscene faves:

    • Xfinity Plus 20V Charger $13.99 (reduced from $19.99), ~dozen left
    • Xfinity Plus 20V 4.0ah battery $42.49 (reduced from $49.99), only 1 left
    • Xfinity Plus 20V Charger & 2.0ah battery pack $23.99 (reduced from $39.99), ~dozen left
    • Ferrex Cordless air pump $31.99 (reduced from $39.99), 2 left

      • I got 2 of these spray gun, still working allright for 2 years now.

Tried the 'premium' metal trigger, but the pressure too weak.

Merged from DeLonghi Dedica Manual Coffee Machine EC685 $89.50 @ Aldi
    Go to Deal

I just saw this coffee machine while walking around in a local Aldi (Watergarden, VIC 3037, not sure if it's nation wide). Cheapest I’ve ever seen on this model.

    • +1

      Great find!

    • Any good?

      • -4

        Unlikely

      • +10

For the price - I paid $199 (~2yrs back) - it's definitely worth it, for $90 it's a STEAL! Just need to pair with a good grinder, but if it's your first foray into home espresso you can't go wrong.

      • +2

I love mine. For that price 200%.

        Solid performer.

      • +1

As someone who has gone down the espresso-at- home-rabbit-hole and is currently running a semi-commercial grinder and heat exchanger machine: i would much rather have this Aldi $90 machine paired with a $350 grinder, than a $500 machine with a "cheap" $90 grinder.

    • When were these advertised as available? My local Aldi stores are still showing $179 each.

      • I thought red tag meant clearance

        • I think that means special buys? This one appears to on clearance at $89

    • +2

Run to your store while others wonder if it's good enough for $89.50 and can't search OzB or google the answer.

      Great price.

    • -3

      That dude looks depressed af.

    • +1

For anyone looking to make the switch from pods, let alone instant, would strongly recommend picking this up. It's one of the better "bang for buck" entry level machines.

Here a review from this year if you're interested: https://www.roastycoffee.com/delonghi-dedica-ec685-review/

    • Holy crap. That's less than what I paid for a 2nd hand Dedica.

      • Yeah I sold my 2yo Dedica for more than this.

    • Great price. I paid $159.87 for same model in 2019 and almost used every day, still working well.

    • Damn, bought one of these during Black Friday sales for $179 like 10 days ago from Aldi :(

      • Same. I think most stores would be out of stock and this post is store specific

    • This is probably just that one specific Aldi store right? Anyone else seen this in other stores?

      • 179$ in Sydney

      • Yes. I got 3 stores near me and the same item could either be same price as advertised 1 month ago, or cheaper, even cheaper if the store manager wants to move it on. It just depends.

Sometimes they can be customer returns too and store staff have no idea if there is something wrong or missing parts. Obviously can always return it.

    • How does it compare to bambino?

      • Bambino better

        • If not huge difference this will be a steal!

          • @JinWu: If you aren't picky with your coffee, you'll be able to get away with the dedica, especially at this price.

            • @Yer: Yep, that is what I meant

    • Great price!

    • +1

      Does this take coffee beans?

      • Yes they are and ingredient in the coffee making process

        • Coffee beans as compared to coffee pods which WERE beans.

      • Yes, after you grind them.

        • So you grind them in a grinder?

          • @bobwokeup: Yes. Or you buy already ground coffee.

Then you switch the machine on, pull the jar with your ground coffee (or you grind the beans on the spot first, with a grinder that you buy and operate separately), put the coffee in the portafilter's basket, tamp the coffee, screw the portafilter onto the machine and press the button to pump hot water through it.

@pizzaguy: Ahhhh cheers, too much effort for me haha I’ll stick to my DeLonghi Magnifica S

    • The guy in the background looks shocked

    • +2

Holy crap that's a good deal. I've had this machine for ~3 years, it's a star. I've just spent $30 on parts to repair mine (busted the steam valve).

Great machine, but be warned: this will start you down the espresso rabbit hole. Soon you'll be talking about "unpressurised baskets," "WDT tools," and "Rancilio steam wands."

You will become, like me, insufferable.

Of course, you'll make a cracking cup of coffee….just as soon as you get a decent grinder.

    • Is it still available for the same price? Aldi app stock check doesnt show any available.

      • +2

It’s only stores that have it on clearance so I’m pretty sure they don’t list that anywhere, you could call around to check.

    • -1

I wonder how much they would resell for (unopened) after this… 🤔

  • In stock at a few other VIC stores at the $179 price.
