Ark is great but yeah not optimised very well at all. Another survival game, Conan Exiles, comes out onto Early Access at 4pm today. Worth a look if you like these kind of games.
Watch out for the swimming animation, not for the faint hearted.

Ark used to be all the rage for streamers when it came out, that's why I was excited for this purchase but reading the latest reviews of the game shows that it has made the game worse for the community.
my son loves it but I think it was unfair of them to charge for an early access / partialy completed game, then bring out scorched earth and charge for that, but not complete the first game.
Guess at this price it's a great game though.
Warning for buyers… this game is really unoptimized, unless you have a monster rig to play on i suggest you stay away from the game
