1 Free Rental @ Video Ezy Kiosks

630
KN363391

I haven't used one in a while as they've been rent one get one free for a while. Finally a free rental!

You can use it once per debit/credit card used. At some kiosks you should get $5 credit, so may be able to get more than 1 free rental, e.g. 2 on Tuesdays.

  • Do you know the expiry date for this? You might see that in the email conditions.

  • 2 codes for video ezy and not a thing to rent!

My local kiosk has had the same 12 blu rays for the past 6 Months and none of them interest me at all.
I don't get it. If people have to make the effort to physically get a physical copy of a movie rather than just stream or download it then surely they should be provided with better quality. Otherwise there just isn't the motivation to use that service. Grrrr.

Blu-ray is better quality than streaming or downloading, unless you pirate a 40-50gb blu-ray rip.

      • Blu-ray is better quality than streaming

and here I was thinking that playing a Blu-ray is streaming

Based on the comment, I think he means a better quality in number of titles. That is more than 12 choices

      • Just to belatedly clarify my ambiguous rant what I mean is that the kiosks near me stock mostly dvds with only a very limited choice of blu-rays.

I am happy to get off my arse and go and get a blu-ray from a kiosk rather than just stream because of the better picture and sound quality particularly for action and science fiction stuff. What doesn't make sense to me is not to offer many blu-rays when for many of us netflix etc is just as good quality as a dvd.

I want the kiosks to survive because when it comes to watching something like The Avengers or Fast and the Furious I think it's worth a little effort and cost for a blu-ray but not for a dvd.

        • It's unfortunate that yours is so poorly stocked then.
My local one is really good at keeping up to date.

The average person doesn't know or care about whether blu ray is superior.

@wxyz234: are you the average person? If so I suppose you're allowed to speak for them.

        • Mine is the same. Limited blu ray and lots of dvds, however I time my rental movies with my grocery shopping + it's super close to me so it's not a big effort at all.

  • I've been sooo waiting for a new code. No one wants those 2 for 1 codes, free DVDs is the way to go.

  • Wondering if anyone knows if/where there are any in Tasmania? :p

    • Yep, nope.
(As in, yes I know, there are none in Tasmania)

      • Damn,

        Thanks for the reply!

The 2 for 1 codes are actually for $5 off in my local kiosk so if you use them on Tuesdays I'm pretty sure you get two freebies.

    • Yes got 2 free yesterday with 2 for 1 code.

    • I tried that but still had to pay for one. Paid $2 for the 2 movies

  • No kiosks near me but a few Hoyts ones. Do they fire out codes like this often?

  • Nice one! You're right there hasn't been a single free rental for a while. They usually update the machines with the latest releases on Wednesdays too, so good timing! Cheers.

  • Thanks OP, used this twice now.
