Disgusted with Domino's. Now an Eagle Boy :)

edit: Just found out from the comments that Eagle Boys used to be an Australian company.. but was bought out by Pizza Hut late last year :'(

I've been a loyal Domino's customer for a long time.

Today I got a message from their app - an offer of 3 pizza's + 1.25L drink + garlic bread delivered ($33.95). That got me in the mood for pizza! We usually get one pizza per person in our household (4). So I added 3 Traditional pizza's to the deal, and added a Value pizza (cheaper) as an extra.

I tried a few times, but each time, the app would push the Value pizza into the deal, making the more expensive Traditional pizza the extra to pay for. How greedy!

Then I remembered that Eagle Boys had competitive deals that were constant, and voucher free! Sure enough, I found a similar deal on their site and ordered from them… I ended up paying $4 more than I would have through Domino's, but I got 2x 2L drinks instead, and a second garlic bread.. so I was happy with that. I even tested adding a cheaper pizza after the meal, and nothing was altered to get more out of me.

I enjoyed the Eagle Boys pizza's enough to convert me over. Eagle Boys used to be an Australian company, makes an Aussie Pizza, has meal deals voucher free, and isn't greedy. I think I'm going to support the Australian company from now on ;)

      Should be changed to "Eagle boys used to be an Australian company"

      If Pizza Hut has bought Eagle Boys, how is Eagle Boys any more "Australian" than Dominos ???

          It's never nice for those involved when a business fails…

          But there are still heaps of independent Aussie pizza places all around the country, so you should still be able to enjoy Aussie pizza for a long time to come ;-)

    Well f*** you! Now you made me crave for pizza! :| Only deal I have found for Pizza capers is 3 large and 2 bread for $49.95… My Mrs is out of town…am gonna munch on all that food by myself.
    I should keep an eye out on Lite N Easy coupons after that. :|

    When I moved to Gold Coast from Melbourne, Eagle Boys made awesome pizza and they were cheap. The Chicken Club used to be 7 bucks, this was end of 2010-early 2011. Then their pizza quality started deteriorating and the prices started going up. Around mid 2016 we decided to shift to Pizza Capers instead…

    Getting so sick of this crap. Aminoz puts a product into your cart that you must then remove. (profanity) you Aminoz, I'll pay more money to a business that doesn't do that such as Bulk Nutrients.

    Just imagine going to the supermarket and whilst your there the staff keep adding things to your trolley whilst you're back is turned. Would you keep patronising this joint?

    My eagleboys changed to a doughboys… twice the price, and the pizza's were better before!!
