Hoegaarden White Beer - Any Good?

There have been a few posts recently about Hoegaarden White Beer.

I have never heard of it. Is it any good?
What is it similar to?

    It's absolutely delicious and so refreshing on a summer day. Doesn't taste like any other lager type beer. Has a nice citrus hint with a pale colour.

    It is certainly good quality, but Duvel Golden, Chimay White and Leffe Radieuse are premium, connoisseur beers for a mature taste:-

    It's a wheat beer with coriander and orange zest. That probably tells you all you need to know.

    I bought a slab from Dan Murphys when it was on special last time, thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Fruity and refreshing (better on tap of course), more expensive than usual beers. Though I cant seem to 'binge' on them all night as oppose to corona or so.

    Usually 20$ for a 4 pack.

    Just beware the Hoegaarden 3am thirsties should you decide to spend an afternoon drinking it in a belgian beer cafe or similar. I have done so many times as it's a great beer.

    first time I had it found it too bright and fruity and thought I would return the case but it quickly grew on me, GF who mainly drinks cider loved it! Any deals on it, curious about timing of OPs question??
