My partner works FIFO and we're planning to move to Wellington, NZ. He will be flying from Perth to Wellington and back every three weeks. Just wondering if anyone does the same thing and which airline they fly with/club membership. Am trying to weigh up which club to sign up with (Koru, Qantas or Virgin).
Also, if you have some tips on how to get cheaper flights for regular international flights then please share (unfortunately, we don't know anyone who works for the airlines so this isn't an option).
Thanks in advance :)
Probably Qantas would be best. He should check his work if they have corporate Qantas Club memberships to get lounge access (eg shower) as they are cheaper than RRP ones. If he has to pay for can claim on tax as a work expense.
For cheaper flights have to use iwantthatflight or similar and just have alerts for cheap fares. I suspect you won't have much flexibility on dates given the time table so some flights are going to be expensive (eg school holidays).
