Hi,
I want to buy a car to use for a year, selling at the end of the year (at which point I move abroad) aiming for minimal financial loss.
I'm thinking of spending no more than 10K. I have no particular requirements. It will be used to carry kayaks, but light as they are I can't see this being much of a determining factor. I'd prefer efficiency over power and warranty. I have come across a couple late hatchbacks, still under warranty which seems like a good choice. Any suggestions, recommendations welcome, not so much on models.
Thanks.
When it comes to strong resale, don't go past the Swift. Just check yourself, they drop only about $1-$1.5k/yr. Economical and you won't (shouldn't) need to do anything over that time
