Hi OzB.
I'm replacing a family members laptop that was stolen. He uses Excel a lot with complex formulas so he wants it to be relatively quick. I thought all these should suffice but ya'll may notice something I don't. The last Dell entry looks very highly spec'd but I had concerns around battery life. He's happy for it to be a 2-1 and not a bulky notebook. It needs to be replaced from JB Hifi as I'm going through insurance.
I've had a look at the following:
- Dell Inspiron 13-5000 - Z510842AU - Here
- Dell Inspiron 13-7000 - Z510461AU - Here
- Dell Inspiron 13-7000 - Z510872AU - Here
- Lenovo Yoga 710 - 80V4001TAU - Here
- Lenovo Yoga 910 - 80VF005CAU - Here
What are you thoughts?
Have a play in store and see which one he likes. Also have a look at the XPS13, it's a much better quality laptop.
You can get a new in box XPS 13 from the Dell outlet for less than those inspirons, e.g.
