When would be the best time to book flights to Europe from Sydney from 22nd September to 6th October.
Ideally looking at Amsterdam return, at the moment the cheapest is $1320 with China Southern Airlines.
Seems a bit pricey considering I've seen return flights to Europe for under $1000.

I would say round trips are always expensive, except once Thai Airways from memory.

Within Europe, the flights are like 50AUD one way usually and you can still go as many places as you want,
I will look at cheapest to one destination and then look for the connecting flights.
As Beirut is not in Europe, it may cost you more.In that case you might want to look at Emirates and Qatar

this is true sometimes but not always the case.
if you have defined dates you NEED to be there on, just book with earlier bird fares. waiting until the last minute they can actually increase to the point they are ridiculous and you won't have a ticket.
it depends on the season and airline but sept. isn't freezing weather there so you won't get absolute bargain basement.
qatar airways had about 1200 last time i checked. so that's a bit cheaper and probably better airline.
