I went to buy a new rice cooker at the Good Guys when we all had those$25 vouchers. Every single model had Teflon or Teflon like coatings on the internal pot. Many of the individual reviews spoke of the Teflon flaking off. If you just don't want or trust those coatings, Buffalo is one of the few brands that offer stainless steel.
Juat spray it with oil before you use it
Rice doesnt stick much, coating stays on. It works for our 5yo+, $15 kmart job.
Just turn off the power and wait for 10 mins before you open the rice cooker. No need oil.
If you want the best rice cooker, get what the 'locals use' Tatung. and they are stainless steel.

The best rice cooker is stainless steel induction one, but it will cost you $500+. For example:

Tatung is all stainless steel unlike the brand Cuckoo you are referring to. Cuckoo does have a stainless steel outer unit but the product decription states the inner bowl you put the rice in has 'Diamond Coating Inner Pot'. In other words Teflon!!
