hey guys,
I'm looking to pick up a good game that I can play with my brother.
We've only played our own games on the PS4 - him playing Destiny and FF, while I only play FIFA. We talked about trying to find a game we can play together, but can't think of any?
Any recommendations?

If you're into the dungeon crawler genre; Diablo 3 would be a good local multiplayer game without having to deal with split screen.
Do you like your brother? There's a game called Overcooked that is absolutely amazeballs and it's on sale right now on the AU PS store. However, this will test your relationship with your bro. I've been playing it with my partner and divorce has been threatened on several occasions.

I'm also in the same boat as there seems to be a lack of local multiplayer games on the PS4.
We love these games:
Star Wars battlefront is great in 2 player (death match and co-operative)
Trackmania turbo
Rayman
Rocket League
I play this with my son, great fun!
Mario 3D World, Mario Cart 8, Splatoon, Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi Wooly World.. too many.. oh wait, you mean PS4

Couple great ones me and mates have played: Broforce, Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, Gauntlet, Helldivers, Magicka 2, Towerfall. And ofcourse the previously mentioned Rocket League and Overcooked..

Short list of games from the top of my head
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is pretty good if you want some co-op fun (or trolling)
- Assault Android Cactus is some decent bullet hell fun for a short time
- Rocket League for fast paced soccer action with remote control cars
- Borderlands: The Handsome Collection - Borderlands 2 is great to play split screen, and although The Pre Sequel wasn't as good, there are some good Aussie references in there
- Spelunky is a classic that I would recommend
- Risk of Rain has a lot of replayability, but gets harder over time and slowly drip-feeds new content
Oh, and I almost forgot, Rayman Legends is great as well

It's a pitty that so many games are online only for multiplayer these days. I miss casual gaming sessions on the couch.
Risk of rain is one of my favorite games on ps4 and a great 2 player experience.

I was recently looking for a PS4 racing game that has a split screen mode and it looks like there is none. I remember playing Driver on PS3 in a split screen mode with my wife and it was quite fun!
I guess these days game developers are more interested in selling online multiplayer passes…
