Hisense M7000 75" same price. I believe the consensus is the Hisense looks better? Might be able to get the Hisense less at an upcoming sale.
The 70m7000 definitely beats the Samsung in image quality. The fald is what beats the Samsung in Black's and colour hands down.
The Smart system is not better then Samsung though :(
The M7000 has a 10 bit panel. It "should" have the better colour. I personally do think it is better in almost every way (other than smart features).
Lucky smart features are easier to fix (chromecast, external device etc) than PQ.
The samsung is last years model with older smart software and no hdr. Yes the hisense is the better value
The Hisense 75 is also $2998 at JB

Soundbars go up that high? Wouldn't a proper stereo system for that price sound way better?
I'm happy with my $125 Phillips Htl2163, lol.
I have limited space - so I've spent ~$800 on a sound bar setup. (Bose Cinemate 15). It's a rental property and I wouldn't be able to mount speakers on the walls.
At my parents home, we have a 'proper stereo system' with 2 large floor standing speakers, and wall mounted surrounds - Pioneer mid-range setup($2k ish) . To be honest- the cinemate 15 is amazing for the size.
Soundbars in the $100-200 range ( I gifted a friend the Sony HTCT80)- This one had one of the best reviews in this price range and I can 100% tell you, it does not sound anywhere near as good as the sound bars in the $500+ range. You definitely get what you pay for.
At the same time, if you're happy with your $125 Philips, no need to upgrade. My home desktop computer is 9 years old, and still does everything I want perfectly (granted I put an SSD in it). Point I'm trying to make - don't buy anything unless you need it/see the value in it. Save your money.
Please note that even after the 20% off JB HI-FI prices on the soundbars are still much more expensive than what is out there. It's insane how uncompetitive JB is now.
Looking at the Philips B5, where can I get it cheaper..?
Yes, I want to know this too. Anyone know if Philips B5 any good? Thanks
What's the best price you can do on the Sony KD75x8500D?
Best price I could get at Gepps Cross was $3515. Can't beat $3000 at Costco Black Friday Sales though.
+1, but only con is its the 6400 not 7000 or higher model, for that size id want the best panel (not the entry-level panel). otherwise, good find.
