Ozbargain should crack down on "bargains" with less than "X" number of positives…
Problem is, you deal with one store and the next one comes along. At the moment we do crack down on a heap of spammers.
There is a way though, to avoid deals with "X" number of positives, if you use the Deals page.
At the top of the page, you can see your login id. Click on that and get taken to your settings page.
There you have a number of tabs, including Edit. Click on that.
There are a few new tabs that appear below that, including the Preference tab. Click on that
Now, you can change the number of votes required, for a deal to appear on your version of the front page. After you set that to Customised and set the minimum votes to X or something close to that, you can skip out on all the bargains that haven't got the votes you require. Then you can use the front page.
An alternative is to, lower down the page, change the minimum number of votes for the Deals page and continue using the deals page, but now only seeing deals with X number of positive votes.
I don't find $10-15 for a pair of knickers to be that fantastic. Many websites have a clearance section.
