bought mine for 99cents on ebay.
Honestly go on gumtree or walk around your neighbourhood or others.
Furniture such as tables and desk and chairs are somethings you can really save money on i have found if you are not too picky..even if you are there is usually somebody who is or is putting out furniture due to spring cleaning / moving out or just ran out of space.
Somebody somewheres trash is your treasure.

ikea adjustable height desk $300
i was looking at this myself, unfortunately no stock.
also not very solidly built.
unfortunately i had to buy the officeworks version and i cant for the life of me understand how to put it together, so its currently unfinished. ikea furniture is great in my experience. its $300(?) - what do you expect?
ikea furnitue is easy to put together, but its hit and miss in terms of quality or how solidly built it is after you put it together.

I have the perfect one back at my parents/grandparents place that is being used as a clothes holder haha lol..super heavy and super solid.. I cant even remember how i got it up there..
