My old screen protector that came with the phone is flaking and peeling off. Juggling between getting tempered glass or 10x regular clear ones. Or should I get this one - 2 tempered glass pieces but posted from China.
I'm really after the cheapest and best option so any feedback would be most welcomed!

If you really want to protect from scratches, get a back one too, sand/dirt can get in the case and scratch.
I just replaced a cheap tempered glass protector with a Nillikin 9H after reading about it on XDA - i think this is a product name as well as a hardness measurement.
Interestingly it feels different to other tempered glass I've used, much more like the device: almost no friction. I wasn't expecting anything so when i started using it I was surprised.
have had the xperia z z3 z5. get a glass protector. Get one on ebay via a local seller and youll get it in a week, dont choose a china seller or aliexpress takes too long.
Youll get an Aus one for around $5.
I have bought from http://stores.ebay.com.au/ezydigitalshop/ before, not sure if they still have them for the z seeing its a fair age now.

buy one from an Aus seller and at the same time buy a few from china.
The stock one has lasted me for close to 4 years and I don't think I'll be needing multiple. But having said that, I'm very tempted to buy the 3 for $3 AUD and not get Australian stock because it's a better deal and I'm in no rush to put on a new screen protector.

last time(only time) I got one from aliexpress, the glass was rough on one edge and wouldnt stick down properly. wasted my money and 5 weeks wait.
Cheap tempered glass in my experience is foggy/yellow, and many times hole for sensor in wrong spot so the screen won't turn off in calls. Pleased with nillkin quality.
I've bought multiple cheap tempered glass screen protectors from aliexpress for multiple phones - 3 models of HTC, iphone 5, 6, 6+, lenovo k3 note, and some others .
all have been perfectly clear and holes lined up with sensors, buttons, and front camera

EBay. I bought cheapest I could find. Then decided to spend a little more ($9 I think?). Didn't notice discolouring until compared to better one- but biggest problem I was getting was cutout location.
Back and front if you don't have a case. I doubt it will stop anything major, just minor scratches.
I've got a z3 compact with a case and front tempered glass. I don't know the difference between them or if brand names make a difference, but I just look for the 9H,. thinnest one I can find with rounded edges.
