    Isn't 99 pound about $160 AUD?

    • Seems to be the price with VAT. If I go to check out its reduced to 82.50. OP please change title to be $208 Inc shipping

    • Yes but they remove the VAT because it's being shipped overseas.
Still add $20 for a plug convertor.

      • Yes I realise that now. Thank you.

      • Still add $20 for a plug convertor.

Why? You can buy them for a few dollars and the better way would be to replace the plug for a few dollars from the hardware store.

        • Those capable know how to change and plug and how much it costs, those that aren't shouldn't and it will kill any chance of warranty you may have.

So why tell people they need a plug converter?

People may not think of changing the plug and it's very straightforward.

Warranty is a moot point either way.

        • @Maverick-au:

Because England and Australia use different plugs… simple stuff mate.

Anyone without any electrical knowledge shouldn't be cutting plugs off and messing with cables, you may be capable but you can't assume that everyone is.

And I'm pretty sure that everyone knows this.

So you think we shouldn't tell anyone about anything if we think they're too stupid to handle the information?

@Maverick-au: You realise that it's illegal to do in several states because some people aren't competent enough to do it?

How does mentioning that something is an option force them to do it? And it's illegal in all states of Australia and legal in nearly every other country in the world.

        • @Maverick-au:

So then it's like you're suggesting that people drive at 160km of highways if they're capable.

Someone points out that's irresponsible. But that's ok because its up to them if they take up the option.

          Stupidity….

Your logic is screwed up. People are responsible for their own actions. I've driven thousands of kilometres on roads at speeds in excess of 200kph where it's legal but using your logic by telling someone this and that their car can do 160kph I'm responsible if they do it in the nanny country.

          Yes it is.

          Stupidity….

          At least you admit it.

After reading the"ahoy" I read the rest in pirate arrrrr

  • In the market for a new processor. I'd be a little worried about it surviving international shipping.

I'd be a little worried about it surviving international shipping.

If that's the case you best buy from B&M stores but I can tell you that I've purchased thousands of items from overseas and these range from the cents to thousands of dollars and from rubbish bags to ovens and never had a breakage*.

Amazon will also sort any problems immediately without cost to you.

*I had a suitcase from Italy that suffered minor damage and the seller did a part refund to resolve it.

Amazon support are really up there in terms of cs.

  • Thanks was looking for this food processor.

  • Uhm, what plug and voltage does it use?

    • Uhm, what plug and voltage does it use?

It's from the UK, it has a UK plug (already discussed above) and it used the same voltage and frequency as us (should be well known to everyone especially as Australia changed to 230V in line with Europe - WA and QLD still 240V but the change is coming at least in QLD).

      • Ok sweet. I asked cos I didn't find it in the Amazon page, and I got burned buying an appliance from the US Amazon that uses 110v I think. Only way to use it was to buy an expensive step down transformer. Completely my fault and lesson learned.

      • What QLD going to 120V?

        • What QLD going to 120V?

          ?

  • Bought one thanks OP
