Wow. That's a massive bargain. It is $52.50 in Xbox Store.

I think most people that didn't buy at launch would have bought it in November for $27 (like me). $18 is great value for a 50 hour game!

          U wot?

@TheOneWhoKnocks: sometimes I pretend ozbargain is reddit. It really annoys the locals which only furthers the hilarity.

@Putnum: Yeah I realise the Reddit reference but how is it 'no context'? Btw didn't neg you.

        • -3

@TheOneWhoKnocks: when people say that, you've meant to read the original post as if you didn't know its context. You're gonna buy sleeping dogs. Might be confusing to someone that doesn't know it's a game.

I don't care about negs they mean nothing. I've gotten more comment awards than ever this month anyway.

          @Putnum: You're bloody cooked mate.

        • @TheOneWhoKnocks: By you hopefully, /u/TheOneWhoKnocks.

    • Cheers, added these to the post.

      Edit:

Both Mirror's Edge Catalyst & Fire Watch deals have unfortunately expired.

Game has great reviews. But to me it seems like it would get boring. Anyone here played it? I've been duped before with games like Journey which I found tedious

Don't look at it like an adventure or a walking simulator or anything like that.

It's a puzzle game, with nice scenery between puzzles. You'll spend most of your time on squares, connecting dots, lining up shadows and drawing outlines on grids.

I love the game but it is very different to what most people would think looking at screens and quick clips.

Despite what it looks likes there's a lot of variety to it. If you like puzzle games it's a no brainer. It gets hard, and there are times you'll be staring at a puzzle for ages. But every puzzle is solvable without resorting to googling, and when you finally get some of the puzzles it's full of "Ah-ha" moments. And if that sounds like something you'd like then grab it. Game of the year for me.

It's a good game but I never finished it. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so it was way too hard for me.

It's a good sense of accomplishment when you finally figure out a puzzle after trying for hours on end. The puzzles are always in a series. You will rock up to a location and do the first puzzle which is easy but then they get progressively harder. Each series tho follows a common pattern.

it is not tedious but I just gave up cause I could not solve some puzzles and looking online for solutions would totally kill this game.

Good deal. US$40 for PC on Steam.

  • Looks like there won't be a physical release at this rate as hoped, so time to pull the trigger. Thanks OP.

  • Dishonored Definitive Edition is also $16.95 for PS Plus members.

  • Heard some amazing things about this game, think it's about time I gave it a go.

  • was thinking of buying when it was $20 USD on Steam, was waiting for GOG DRM free copy to go on sale.. but $18 AUD? Will buy on ps4 and make do with joystick movement.
