    It does if you have dust there and don't brush it all out before.

    Some people prefer to use cans of air to blow, and then use the brush to dust. Rinse repeat until there's no more specks of dust…

    EDIT: should add… NEVER use this on a sensor. EVER.

      Used a few in the early days.

      Now I just use cloths that come with sunglasses, a little rocket blower to get any specs of dust off. Every now and then i give them a good clean with some ROR residual oil remover.

    I clean my lens with my shirt. I've never ever scratched the surface of any lens by cleaning it.
