Lamp for Lifx Bulb - Bayonet

Hi all,

I just purchased a new Lifx bulb - Bayonet screw.

No experience with Smart Bulbs in the past so I was excited when I received my package yesterday. I tested it in a spare lamp I had and a few features didn't work. Some of the effects such as Strobe and "Spooky" didn't work. Though I guess that will be fixed once I fiddle around with the app a bit more.

Anyway, I need a lamp. The lamp I want is a tall, long, skinny, standing lamp. I can see one at Fantastic Furniture for $55.

I'm just wondering if there is any cheaper alternative…or something similar that doesn't take up much room - I plan to put this in a corner of my room.

    Damn, Looks like teh cheaper ones don't have a bayonett screw! Any work around to that?

  There's also the ones from Kmart.
